Repeal of the Fox Hunting ban???

So, the inevitable happened. The Tories won and the only surprising thing about that is that they didn’t have to form a coalition. I’m not sure whether i would of preferred them to or not, especially if UKIP had ended up gaining more seats than they did and started making plans with the Tories.
But on the other hand, the Lib Dems say they have been holding the Tories back from being far right wing for the past 5 years.

I’m very much left wing (obviously). Coming from a not-so-well-off working background and born into a changing world of open sexuality and different cultures and poverty, it was inevitable that i was always going to have modern ideas.
Shamefully, i didn’t actually vote. Trust me when i say that i desperately wanted to, but like a fool i put off sending my ID to register to vote and by the time i remembered, it was too late. If i had have voted, i would’ve gone Green.

I’ve tried not to have too much of a public opinion about it because i don’t have the right seeing as i didn’t actually vote, but something today really pushed my buttons and obviously i had to make a status on Facebook releasing the anger.

The status was:

“I genuinely don’t have a clue how David Cameron could even consider repealing the ban on fox hunting. I count myself as particularly left wing, although i do have the not-so-popular opinion that hunting with a gun should stay legal providing you know what you are doing and are only hunting for food, but it is a HUGE jump from that to legalising dogs ripping a defenceless animal to shreds for the sole reason of it being alive. We’re supposed to be in 2015 for goodness sake! The Conservative party seems to have a knack for coming up with excuses for why they need to cut NHS spending and keep the banker’s bonuses high, but David Cameron genuinely believes that he should have the freedom to murder an innocent animal and that “The Hunting Act has done nothing for animal welfare”?!?

I can’t even put into words how disgusted i am.

And i hope that when it gets put to a vote, the UK shows that it is made up of better human beings than that twat.”

I certainly have a way with words if i may say so myself… ha!

But seriously, it’s time to be vocal. Campaign against it, organise a march or protest or ask influential people to post about it online! We let Tories stay in power but that doesn’t mean they can do whatever the hell they like. Don’t let them kill our foxes for sport!!
